Theme: Embrace The Next

TEDx is an independently organised one day event, hosting speakers across different domains having ideas to share.  Hosted by TED, the event was independently organized by TEDxSIBMBengaluru, embodying the TED mission of spreading valuable ideas to inspire and provoke thought. This year’s 14th edition of  TEDxSIBMBengaluru was a dynamic platform that brought together diverse voices and ideas under the overarching theme of “Embrace The Next.”

“Embrace The Next” invites us to see life’s transitions not as interruptions, but as gateways to transformation, offering opportunities to grow, adapt, and uncover new horizons. These moments encourage us to step beyond the familiar, opening pathways to fresh perspectives and deeper insights. Whether reimagining plans, confronting challenges, or welcoming the unknown, transitions prompt us to reflect on how we approach change. They ask us to consider how qualities like trust, adaptability, and curiosity shape our journeys and reveal possibilities we may never have anticipated. Much like nature’s cycles, each shift becomes part of a greater story—an unfolding process where persistence meets openness, leading to unexpected growth and fulfillment. By embracing these turning points, we not only shape ourselves but contribute to the broader evolution of the world around us, finding purpose and connection in the flow of life.

The event served as a melting pot of intellect, creativity, and inspiration, drawing speakers from various domains and backgrounds to share their unique perspectives and insights. From seasoned professionals to emerging talents, each speaker had 18 minutes to captivate the audience with their thought-provoking talks.

Attendees, hailing from different cities, represented a broad spectrum of demographics, including faculties, students, and individuals across all age groups. This diverse audience contributed to a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences, fostering meaningful conversations and connections throughout the event.

TED is a non-profit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short & powerful talks. TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events.

At SIBM Bengaluru we have a vision to build a culture that fosters curiosity, creativity and sparks inspiration. TEDx SIBMBengaluru has brought this vision to reality through our TEDx events for nine seasons and will continue to do so in the forthcoming years. We provide a platform for the vocalisation of human ideas and to learn from people who have dared to walk off the beaten path. The driving force behind us is a harmony a passion for new ideas coupled with an ingenious spirit of innovation. Ideas are the very foundation of progress and growth at an individual level, at an organisational level as well at a societal level. At TEDx SIBMBengaluru, we endeavour to trigger deep discussions and create a humble connection among people through ideas worth spreading.
