Our MBA student exchange program offers an enriching opportunity for students to immerse themselves in diverse academic environments abroad, enhancing their global perspective and networking capabilities. Through partnerships with esteemed foreign universities, participants gain access to specialized courses, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and personal growth.
As part of SIU’s Global Immersion program, SIBM-B students have had the opportunity to attend prestigious international institutions such as the Berlin School of Economics & Law (Germany), HOCHSCHULE-Bremen (Germany), Dauphine University (France), and Rennes School of Business (France).
We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru (SIBM-B), Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business (GSB) for a dual degree program. This unique opportunity allows our Master’s students to pursue an additional Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree from Fordham alongside their MBA from SIBM-B. During the program, students will engage in a semester exchange schedule, enhancing their academic and cultural experiences.
Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business (GSB) holds prestigious rankings, including 21st in the Best Business Schools for MBA Finance Specialty and 14th in International Business by U.S. News and World Report. Furthermore, GSB is recognized as Tier 1 in North America for MBA programs by CEO Magazine.

Dr. Semila, Faculty at SIBM Bengaluru, was invited by Academies Australasia College, Singaporeto conduct an online session for their students on September 11, 2025. The session, held as part of their Research Methods course, focused on key research-related topics such as Academic Writing, the Art of Writing, and Review of Literature, and engaged students in practical approaches to developing strong research skills. This invitation reflects Dr. Semila’s expertise and SIBM Bengaluru’s growing academic reach on international platforms.
Dr. Semila was invited to conduct a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “From Research Idea to Scopus Publication: A Strategic Road Map” for the faculty members of Skyline University Nigeria. The session provided valuable insights into developing research ideas and strategically progressing towards publications in Scopus-indexed journals. The programme was well received by the participants and highlighted Dr. Semila’s expertise in research mentoring and academic capacity building at the international level.
Bikramaditya Ghosh: Dr. Bikramaditya Ghosh, Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Bengaluru, successfully completed his teaching engagement under the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Programme with VIVES University of Applied Scienceson 28 April 2026. VIVES University of Applied Sciences, a member of the KU Leuven Association, is a prominent higher education institution in Belgium known for its emphasis on applied learning and international collaboration. As part of the programme, he delivered courses totaling 7 ECTS credits in the areas of Doing Business Outside Europe: India, Behavioural Finance, Microfinance, and Islamic Investments. Dr. Ghosh has consistently contributed to international academic exchange through his teaching assignments during the Spring semester.
SIBM Bengaluru was delighted to host Prof. Jagannadha Pawan Tamvada, Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Kingston Business School, Kingston University, UK, for an engaging session with our faculty.
