Focus on Quantitative Finance: The study of financial markets through the use of mathematical modeling tools is emphasized in the quantitative finance curriculum. It gives students the know-how and abilities needed to apply statistical and mathematical techniques to actual financial and risk management issues.
Expertise for Quantitative Analysts: Graduates of this program are prepared to work as quantitative analysts, who create and apply sophisticated models to play a critical role in financial firms. These models help decision-makers make well-informed choices about a range of financial issues, such as investments, pricing tactics, and risk management techniques.

A broad range of subjects are covered in the program's extensive curriculum, including the development of financial markets, computational finance, fintech, empirical asset pricing, financial management, econometrics, mergers and acquisitions, microeconomics, securities analysis, portfolio management, and financial risk management. Students will have a thorough understanding of both the theoretical and practical sides of quantitative finance thanks to this all-encompassing approach.
Unique format: This program's two-year format sets it apart from others. Students gain a foundation in general management courses throughout their first year, giving them a well-rounded business education. Students enroll in quantitative finance-specific courses in their second year, where they can expand their knowledge and skills in this specialized area while still gaining from the first year's broader business viewpoint.

Eligibility

Candidate should be Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

All short-listed candidates for the two-year full-time MBA programme at sibm are required to appear for the selection process, which comprises the following components:

How to Apply

To apply for the programs offered at SIBM Bengaluru, follow these steps. Firstly, register and pay the non-refundable SNAP registration fee of Rs. 2250 by 23rd November 2023 (Thursday).

Next, complete your registration for your desired programs at SIBM Bengaluru by 08th December 2023 (Friday), by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 per program.

The SNAP entrance test, which is mandatory, will be conducted online on three different dates: 10th December 2023(Sunday), 17th December 2023(Sunday), and 22nd December 2023(Friday). This process provides aspiring candidates the opportunity to secure admission to their preferred programs at SIBM Bengaluru.

The selection process for admission to the MBA Programs Batch 2024-26 is comprised of various components, each assigned a specific weight in the final merit list calculation.
