SPaRC is an initiative to inculcate an environment of good quality research at SIBM-B. The research centre aims at providing a platform to engage and encourage faculty and students in doing good quality research through continuous involvement in their research projects. The idea behind the centre is to provide all possible support at the institution level to increase research output.

A one day FDP was conducted on Mindfulness for Effectiveness- In Research & Academic Programs on 17th May,2019 at SIBM B. Mr.Sapan Shriaml Chief Catalyst at Monk@Work – a specialized Mindfulness consulting firm was the resource person.

A Three day FDP was conducted on Website Development and Word Press by Prof. A. Vidyasagar and Prof. Semila Fernandes at SIBM.

FDP Conducted on ‘Teaching and Learning Through Cases'( March 28th 2014)
One day FDP was conducted on Teaching and Learning through cases by the Teaching Learning Resource Centre (TLRC),SIU, Prof. N. Ravichandran from IIM Ahmedabad was the resource person.

FDP on CGPA Based Assessment(November 22nd, 2013)
One day FDP was conducted by the Teaching Learning Resource Centre (TLRC),SIU, on CGPA based assement. Prof.Chandan Chatterji and Prof.Prasanna Hulikavi were the resource persons.

New Horizons (November 5th & 6th, 2012) :
A two day workshop was conducted by Mr. Prasad from Azim Premji University to help the Faculty at SIBM adopt a more learner-centric approach by re-examining their teaching methods, by exploring some critical ideas and tools for effective engagement of learners and identifying some ways for making the classroom delivery more effective.

Workshop on SPSS (August 17th &18th 2012) :
A two day workshop was conducted by Mr. Ashish Kulkarni for all the faculty of SIBM-Bangalore to develop insights into research methodology using Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis and basic know of using SPSS as a tool in research activities.
