Dr. Rohit Bhardwaj

Assistant Professor

Dr. Bhardwaj earned his Doctorate in Management from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, in 2023. His doctoral research, titled “Role of Network Bricolage in Social Purpose Organizations: A Knowledge-Based Dynamic Capability Perspective,” makes significant theoretical and empirical contributions to the fields of social entrepreneurship and strategic management.

He completed his Master of Business Administration with specialization in Business Analytics and Marketing from Chandigarh University, graduating with First Class distinction.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Jammu.

Dr. Bhardwaj has been actively involved in management education, teaching postgraduate students in leading business schools across India.

He teaches courses in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business Simulation, while also contributing to curriculum development in emerging areas such as Business Model Innovation, Design Thinking, and Systems Thinking.

Dr. Bhardwaj’s research lies at the intersection of Strategic Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Dynamic Capabilities, Knowledge Management, Organizational Learning, Entrepreneurial Bricolage, Systems Thinking, and Innovation.

His work aims to explain how organizations operating under severe resource constraints develop strategic capabilities that enable sustainable social and economic value creation. His interdisciplinary approach combines perspectives from strategy, entrepreneurship, knowledge management, and systems theory.

Research Contributions

Publications: Dr. Bhardwaj has published extensively in internationally reputed journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, with several publications appearing in ABDC A and ABDC B journals. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the journal – Frontiers in Human dynamics and regularly reviews research for several top-tier management journals.
